Brandon Kheang is a cinematographer and colorist based in Los Angeles.
He is a visual storyteller where empathy and nuance are at the core of his creative compass.
Brandon's work encompasses a broad range of genres from narrative to nonfiction stories. As a California State University Long Beach graduate in Film & Electronic Arts, Brandon's fiction narrative and documentary works have premiered at Culver City Film Festival, San Diego Asian Film Festival, and Newport Beach Film Festivals. His lenses have explored the stories of underrepresented artists, estranged brothers, and explorations of heritage.
Brandon's recent full-time work has included a position as Video Producer at Ejam, an e-commerced marketing agency where he produced video commercials and product photography for online campaigns. In addition, Brandon also served as the Executive Video Producer of 22 West Media, a multimedia organization where he has produced the mini-documentary series Spotlight and music performance series 22 West Live Sessions.
His style is heavily tied to his multicultural roots and he is drawn to compelling narratives that place an emphasis on people. Exploring the human condition is a key driver for Brandon behind the lens. In his free time, Brandon enjoys exploring the outdoors and nerding out over coffee beans.
